Homeowners
A roof that pays for itself, and stays on.
Solar at home does two jobs: it cuts the monthly bill and it keeps essential load running when the grid drops. With net metering, the surplus your roof makes in the day offsets what you use at night.

What you get
Built for this kind of site.
- Lower electricity bills through self-generation
- Net metering exports your daytime surplus to the grid
- Battery backup keeps fans, lights and pumps running through outages
- Bifacial rear gain adds output on light-coloured roofs
- Every module carries a serial you can verify before installation
A home system pairs RoxSun 585 W modules with a hybrid inverter and a lithium battery, sized to your bill and your roof at survey. At 585 W each, a 10 kW array is about 17 modules and needs roughly 45 square metres of clear roof.
How a project runs
From first visit to handover.
- 01
Site survey
We measure the roof, check shading through the day and read your meter and sanctioned load.
- 02
Design and quote
You receive a layout, a system size and a written price, with the payback worked out from your own bills.
- 03
Installation
Mounting, DC and AC wiring, inverter and battery commissioning, then testing and labelling.
- 04
Net metering
We prepare the application to your distribution company and follow it through to a bidirectional meter.
Worth knowing
Questions we get asked.
- How much roof do I need?
- Each module is 2278 x 1134 mm, about 2.6 square metres. Allow roughly 4.5 square metres per kilowatt once you include walkways and tilt spacing.
- Do I need a battery?
- Not for bill savings. A battery is what keeps you running during load shedding, so the answer depends on how often your area loses supply.
- What happens in summer heat?
- Output falls as panels heat up. The RoxSun module loses 0.30 percent per degree, which is at the low end for a module in this class.
